Fast and Furious 7 Release Date, Cast News: Paul Walker Lives On As Brian Walker; 'Fancy' Rapper IGGY AZALEA in Cameo; Trailer, And Other Spoilers
Fast and Furious 7 will be seen in theaters beginning April 3, 2015, according to Universal Pictures. Directed by James Wan from a screenplay by Chris Morgan, the Fast and Furious 7 full movie will show events unfolding as a result of a revenge plot hatched by Ian Shaw (played by Jason Statham) against Dominic and the crew for the death of his brother Owen as seen in Fast and Furious 6.
The Fast and Furious 7 cast will have franchise regular stars Vin Diesel (as Dominic Toretto), Dwayne Johnson (as Luke Hobbs), Michelle Rodriguez (as Letty Ortiz), Jordana Brewster (as Mia Toretto), Lucas Black (as Sean Boswell), Tyrese Gibson (as Roman Pearce) and Ludacris (as Tej Parker) returning to reprise their roles in the previous Fast and Furious movies. They will be joined by an additional cast which includes Statham, Kurt Russell, Ronda Rousey, Ali Fazal, Tony Jaa and Romeo Santos. Throughout the movie, fans will still get to see the "Brian Walker" character portrayed by the late Paul Walker. The scenes which were unfinished before his untimely death has been filmed using CGI for his face and voice while the actor's brothers, Caleb and Cody, stood in as his body doubles.
Still in Fast and Furious 7 cast news, Vin Diesel told Sky Rocket FM that Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, who is best known for her hit song "Fancy," will be making a cameo appearance in the movie.
The Fast and Furious 7 trailer that's been making the Youtube and Internet rounds, true to its trademark, shows there will be those spectacular fight scenes, breathtaking car chases and car crashes, much carnage and mayhem that the loyal fans of the franchise always look forward to watching.
