Grimm Season 4 Release Date, News: New Season Airs on October 24, New Wesens invade the series!
Grimm Season 4 updates: series protagonist Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) will be out to battle new Wesens, or creatures, in Grimm Season 4, which airs on October 24.
The creatures include:
- Gedächtnis Esser: Part-man, part-octopus, its tentacles dig deep into its victim's head, stealing memories and causing dementia.
- Schinderdiv - A ruthless, fanged beast who will stop at nothing to destroy.
- Heftigauroch - A creature that transforms into a bull during fits of rage. In Grimm Season 4, a peaceful boxer is the Heftigauroch's alter ego.
- Golem: The 10-foot high clay creature champions the underdog but is difficult to handle.
"A lot of what we do is trying to explain real-world problems, like identity theft," says Grimm executive producer Jim Kouf.
"Our best Wesen ideas come when we have an emotional core that explains something in life."
As for more Grimm Season 4 plot twists, it looks like tough times are ahead for newlyweds Monroe and Rosalee, as many force against the marriage of a Grimm and a Wesen.
Grimm Season 3 ended with a lot of cliffhangers, such as Nick losing his powers. He must now depend on Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) to spot Wesens who are taking human form.
Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) was also shot in the chest several times.
"I kind of saw it coming, so it's not a huge surprise. I think we'll try to find some interesting way to bring him back. We'll see what happens," Roiz said in an interview.
Stay tuned for Grimm Season 4 updates.
