MacBook Air Retina Delayed Because of Unavailable Core M Chip: Report Says

MacBook Air Retina 2014 Release Date Postponed to 2015
The highly anticipated MacBook Air Retina is not going to be released this year. Apple is said to delay its release until 2015.
After the release of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch people are anxiously looking at the Cupertino-based company. waiting for other releases or upgrades on their other Apple gadgets. Apart from iPad Air 2 and the iPad Mini 3, a new MacBook is under construction, which is named Macbook Air Retina. Macbook Air Retina was previously planned for the end of this year, but reportedly, it is now postponed to 2015.
One special feature of this MacBook genre is its slimmer design and Retina display. Currently Apple is using "The Core M," a special chip from Intel for this particular device. This enables the device to be more powerful than the other genre of MacBooks devices. Another peculiar feature of this new device is, it doesn't require a fan for cooling, allowing it to be thinner than other Apple laptops.
ech people can expect a new MacBook Air with a screen size of 12 inches. Apple is set on launching this in the middle of the next year, 2015. However, this date is not official yet and can still be moved further, depending on the availability of Core M chip.
"If the new chip is utilized, then the MacBook Air Retina could be available in time for Christmas this year," according to Macworld.co.uk. Rumors have it that the 12-inch MacBook Air would probably come in multiple colors such as slate gray, silver, and gold. If this is true, this will be the first time an Apple laptop is available at the market with other colors except its regular aluminum gray color. Fans would certainly like that.
