Mac Mini 2014 Release Date: Specs and Designs

Of the various devices that Apple has in the market today, the Mac Mini is one of those that still remain to be upgraded.  Because of that, devoted users are expecting that the said upgrade will be released soon.  With the year coming to a close, people are looking at previous reports that said the Mac Mini 2014 will be released on Nov. 20.

These talks are also fueled by other reports than claims the Mac Mini will be coming out with some amazing features and specs. It is said that the device will showcase the OS X Maverick, Iris-integrated Haswell graphics, Intel i5 and i7 processors powered by a 16GB RAM. As per graphics is concerned, the computer is rumored to break expectations with its Iris integrated graphics.

Additionally, reports are also spread about the Mac Mini having a minimum of 1TB HDD. This would be a refreshing welcome for Mac Mini users as it would allow for more storage space.

Also, Apple has been recently using the next generation 802.11ac Wi-Fi in all of the updates that they released. With that said, it would be safe to conclude that the Mac Mini will be no different. This means that this device has the potential to reach a Wi-Fi speed on 1 Gigabit per second. It will also feature HandOff, AirDrop, MailDrop, and Continuity.

Unofficial reports are also circulating with regards to how much the Mac Mini would cost in the market. According to these reports, the Mini Mac with 2.5 GHz dual core Intel i5 with 3MB L3cache model will cost somewhere around $599. In the same manner, the Mini Mac with 2.3 GHz quad core Intel i7 with 6MB L3 cache model will be available at around $799.

If you are concerned with how the new Mac Mini would look like, let us be reminded that the design of this device was last updated in 2010. Although no official word has been released yet, it can be observed that the iMac and Mac Pro has had design revamps already. Therefore, the Mac Mini may have a very good chance to have an overhaul with its looks.
