Power Rangers Movie Cast Rumors, Updates, Spoilers, Release Date; Plus Taylor Lautner, Liam Hemsworth and Chloe Grace Moretz being eyed for Ranger Spots!

The Power Rangers movie reboot is scheduled for release on the big screen by 2016. The movie will be based on the original plot of the classic television show of the 1990s that follows high school kids who have unique gifts and powers that will help save the world.

Some sources leaked that Lionsgate film studio has already produced a script for the movie reboot. Scriptwriter for the movie is reported to be Max Landis and the story is written by Robert Orci.

The final cast line-up has yet to be confirmed but some news hint that Liam Hemsworth and Taylor Lautner are going to have ranger spots. MTV News also hinted that Chloe Grace Moretz, who just starred in the film "If I Stay" will be playing the part of Kimberly Hart also known as Pink Ranger.

Many actors and actresses are also looked into being potential rangers on the movie. Michael B. Jordan for Red Power Ranger, Elle Fanning for Pink Power Ranger, Ansel Elgort for the White Power Ranger, Dylan O'Brien for the Blue Power Ranger, Boneta and Hailee Steinfeld for the Yellow Power Ranger and also Diego for the Black Power Ranger. Again, final lineup for the cast of the movie isn't final yet but we're confident that the stars are going to be great.

In a recent interview, Haim Saban, the movie's producer said that he trusts Lionsgate because he knows that they have the capability of reviving legends just like Power Rangers and not having to deviate so much from their traditional form. They do this in such a way that they can reinvent it enough to target the moviegoers of today's generation. Having produced hits like The Hunger Games, Twilight and Divergent, Power Rangers is definitely in good hands with Lionsgate.

The Power Rangers Movie remake is scheduled to hit the theaters on July 22, 2016.
