'iOS 8' Latest News and Update: 'iOS 8' Beta Version Features and Advantages
Apple is on a roll. First, we have the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus and now, Apple is showing off its latest mobile operating system, iOS 8. By now users have already downloaded iOS 8, but there are things that you probably do not know on what the iOS 8 can do. Yahoo had a first glimpsed of what iOS 8 can do using the beta version of the operating system.
We all want long battery life and the ability to save power on our phones, and on iOS 8, we can exactly do that by showing the users which app has a high battery usage. It can give users their weekly history of app usage and determines which app has the greatest battery usage.
In the previous iOS operating system, users have to determine the right balance between focus and exposure when using the camera. In iOS 8, users can adjust the focus and exposure independently.
We are all familiar with event notification and reminder, but with iOS 8, it will not notify the users 15 or 30 minutes before the appointment. If the users included an address for the event, the iOS alert system will take into consideration how long it will take the user to get to the address of the appointment or event. The feature is very useful especially if the user has really forgotten the event.
Users can now use Safari with DuckDuckGo. DuckDuckGo is a search engine tool that is focused on protecting the privacy of the users. Users can also use Safari with other search engine tool such as Bing, Google and Yahoo.
The App Store in the new iOS 8 will offer a more personalized suggestion on what app to download. It will base its suggestions on your latest request to Siri.
