Suits Season 5 News: Despite a spiralling down ratings, Season 5 gets a Go signal!
Suits has been renewed for a 5th season despite a lackluster Suits mid-season 4 Finale last August 20. However it seems to be a common theme with the show, in that its mid-season finales aren't able to build as much interest as many of the earlier episodes, and when the second half comes around people fail to pick it back up.
"I do think this is a pretty big cliffhanger, but this episode ends with a huge punch," show creator Aaron Korsh recently told the Hollywood Reporter. "Hopefully people will like it. It's definitely going to have a huge question posed that we will answer directly in the back six."
It was confirmed last month that the show has been renewed for a 5th season, though if the downward trend continues it could well be its last.
The first season came out strong with the majority of episodes pulling in over 4 million viewers. Season 2 however only hit that mark twice. The third season could then only get more than 3 million on two occasions, and now season 4 is stuck in the 2 millions.
A lot of fans enjoyed the show inspite all of this downward ratings. We are hoping that the next season's ratings will eventually go up.
The final 6 episodes of season 4 will air in early 2015. Stay tuned for more Suits Season 5 news.
