Apple iPad Mini 3 Release Date, Latest News: Is a bigger display on the horizon?

Those who want to go for a new tablet might need to resist themselves and wait a bit more since Apple has decided to expand its tablet world with new iPad Mini 3. While there are still no official confirmation of the release date of iPad Mini 3, there are rumors that claim a new tablet from the company would hit the racks on October.

Apple has been stuck with average screen for long time but with the release of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6, a lot of speculations claim that the company would be releasing a bigger iPad Mini 3 and with Retina display. The iPad Mini 2 had 7.9-inch along with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution along with 324-ppi pixel density. It is expected that iPad Mini 3 might bring update in the screen size and display resolution. However, the company does still not confirm all of it yet. They might stick with the previous display size as well.

iPad Mini 3 will be blessed with latest processor from the Apple corp. The previous version had A7 processor but this time it will introduce A8 processor since the latest release of iPhone 6 has a 64-bit A8 chipset. Same type of processor might be available in the iPad Mini 3. To develop the gaming experience however, Apple might add separate M8 graphics processor.

Apple iPad Mini 3 might come with the latest operating iOS of Apple iOS 8. The next generation operating system will allow users to explore the new iOS world with the device. iPad Mini 3 might have some camera upgrades and it will come along with TouchID finger print sensor to improve the security system.

Until now, there has been no indication about the price from the company. Therefore, fans might have to wait until the launch to know about the price. Storage option might be the same as iPad Mini 2. It might come with 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage option. Apple has not confirmed that micro-SD card slot will be available or not.
