Jason Derulo Opens Up About Jordin Sparks Split Blaming It On 'Pressure' To Get Married
Singers Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo ended their three year relationship this month and Jason spoke with Ryan Seacrest to explain what really caused the break up. There had been rumors circulating that Jason had been unfaithful.
"What happened ... in a nutshell, there was a lot of tension in the relationship for a lot of different reasons," Jason said. "Every relationship has ups and downs. There was a lot of pressures of marriage. There was a lot of arguing and stuff like that that just weighed on our relationship over time. When you stop having more good times than bad bad times, it's time to call it quits. It becomes something that is unhealthy."
Jordin seemed in good spirits on Monday as she made an appearance on the Today show in New York City.
"Chillin in my @kingsofcole hoodie before more press. So soft!! *snuggles* Hair by @varolopezhair & face by @latishanrankin! I got my new @thelipbar goodies & couldn't wait to wear this beautiful color, Purple Rain. Thanks Mel!
