‘Fallout 4’: Game Release Date to be Announced at EGX2014?

"Fallout 4": Game Release Date to be Announced at EGX2014?
"Fallout 4" is an upcoming futuristic post-apocalyptic action-role playing game series, based on 1950s pulp science-fiction. It also serves as the fourth installment of the Fallout series and a sequel to "Fallout 1," "Fallout 2" and Fallout3.
Set in an alternate retrospective universe in the 22nd and 23rd centuries, the game focuses in a world that had stopped in the optimistic 1950s and found itself on a dystopian post-apocalyptic reality.
The games setting and artwork are inspired by the post-war culture of the 1950s America.
Created by Interplay Entertainment, the game is also developed by Bethseda Game Studios and published by Nethseda Softworks.
Bethseda previously indicated that there are higher possibilities for them to generate more Fallout titles.
Bethseda Softworks Vice Present Pete Hines said, "The whole reason we went out and acquired the license and that we now own Fallout I that we clearly intended to make more than one. This is not something we're going to do once and then go away and never do it again. When that will be or how long that will be God only knows but we acquired it specifically because we wanted to own it and develop it and work on it like we do with 'The Elder Scrolls'."
"Fallout 4" is believed to have an M rating, just like the previous Fallout games. This is secondary to the general mature themes integrated in the Fallout universe such as combat and violence.
The role-playing game is set to be played in various platforms, including DOS, Mircrosoft Windows, Mac OS X, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and Cloud (OnLive). There is currently no information if the game goes into the PlayStation 4. Maybe we'll see it on the console sometime in the future.
With regard to the release date, Bethsada's executive producer and game director Todd Howard told Rock, Paper, Shotgun that the new game announcement will not yet take place as of the moment.
"We don't (have a timeframe for our next game announcement), but I think it's gonna be a while," Howard said.
Fans are expecting for the release of "Fallout 4." The next event for Fallout fans is the EGX 2014, previously known as Eurogamer Expo, where many fans hope for a release date. The said event runs from Sept. 25 to 28. If a 2014 release is not going to take place, then it would be safer for the early part of 2015 to enlighten the situation.
Bethsada Softworks has now acquired the rights to produce all Fallout games. However, there is no official information yet as to whether Bethsada plans to develop Fallout MMO or not.
