'Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 7 Latest News and Updates: 'If Someone is Leaving, Someone New is Also Joining' Cast Update - New Cast Revealed
The ladies are back! "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 7 is stirring up some news. First, Porsha Williams will not return for Season 7 as one of the regular cast. Williams will be in RHOA Season 7 in a recurring role. The season will follow her as she endeavor into her newly found single life with a new job as a gossip reporter.
The known enemy of Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, is going to be back as the lead in this upcoming season. Crowd favorite NeNe Leaks, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks and Cynthia Bailey will return for "Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 7.
If someone is leaving, someone new is also joining the cast. Claudia Jordan, a close friend of Moore, will join the ladies of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season 7 and so will Demetria McKinney, in a recurring role like Williams.
Demetria McKinney is a well-known actress living in Atlanta together with her 14-year-old son. She also loves music. She recently released her first EP titled "Officially Yours" with a positive review. Although she's busy with her career, she makes her family her top priority.
Claudia Jordan has a lot to offer too. She's the former Miss Rhode Island USA and Miss Rhode Island Teen USA. She's been a model on "The Price is Right" and "Deal or No Deal" and Claudia has always love being in the social scene. She's known to be the "fun friend."
In Season 7, it will feature NeNe Leaks and her growing career as well as her relationship with Cynthia. NeNe and Cynthia had a falling out and they will try to rebuild their relationship. Parks is going to have a difficult time after the incarceration of her husband, Apollo Nida.
As to why Porsha Williams was suddenly cut off from the show, an insider revealed that it was because her life does not have "enough storyline" - "Not enough access, not enough storyline." Of course, Porsha didn't take the news lightly. She's upset but she doesn't want to talk about it.
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Season7 will be released on November 9.
