'Home Sweet Hell' Trailer, Rumors and Released Date: Watch New Trailer - A Mother, A Wife and A Psycho Killer in One, Katherine Heigl Turns Husband Into a Killer
In a new film, "Home Sweet Hell," Katherine Heigl is ready to show her new side. Heigl plays the role of Mona, wife of Patrick Wilson. One look at Mona and you'll think that she's an epitome of the typical urban wife, except for the fact, that she's demanding and exhibits an obsessive-compulsive personality.
Mona's husband, Don Champagne played by Patrick Wilson, is a businessman who had an affair with one of his employees, played by the alluring Jordana Brewster. Brewster then got pregnant, and tried to blackmail Don to give her some money. He told his wife that he's in a tight spot. He admitted to having an affair and getting the girl pregnant and Mona has only one solution to the situation - murder. Mona convinced Don that it's the only solution and even taught him how to do it. She made her husband commit murder.
What's interesting about Heigl's character, Mona, is that she deals with killing in the same way she deals with cleaning. They did proceed with killing Don's mistress. Mona chopped her body while Don was puking and she then shouted, "By the way, she's not pregnant." Mona is like the female version of Dexter. The "kill room" has plastics all over and Mona wears a plastic overall. She sure doesn't want to clean any stains of the walls and carpets.
Things got more complicated as Don got himself into more trouble and more bodies are dropping one after another. "Home Sweet Hell" might not be a top contender for an award, but it showed Katherine Heigl in a different light. She showed her flexibility in terms of shifting the persona of her character - a mother, a wife and then a psycho killer. It is interesting how she projects herself in this movie.
"Home Sweet Hell" also stars Jim Belushi and Jordana Brewster. The movie is decent enough, but it's rumored that it's not going to be shown in cinemas and is going straight to DVD. There's no release date for "Home Sweet Home" but we'll keep you updated. Rumors said that it is set to be release on 2015.
