Since forming in 1998, Christian rockers NEEDTOBREATHE, comprised of brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart and Seth Bolt, have released four album and won nine Dove Awards. They have had one hit song from each album be named the Dove Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year.

- 2010 Dove Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year - "Lay 'Em Down" from from the 2010 Dove Rock/Contemporary Album of the Year, The Outsiders
- 2009 Dove Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year - "Washed By The Water" from The Heat
The band was also named the Dove Group of the Year in 2010 and 2011.
