Elsa finally gets to Storybrooke and hits the town with an ice wall around the city. It is not as nice as the outlying the city limits of Arendelle; the job gets done as the town looses power and the sheriff is brought in to investigate. Before her departure however, Emma has another crisis to deal with, closer home. Regina sends a crow to Henry to explain that she thinks it is best if he kept his distance. After all the efforts that Henry had made to build the perfect, "I'm sorry your boyfriend's dead wife is back" basket, Henry's interest in helping out his mom wanes. Meanwhile, Elsa realizes that her plan to find Anna is failing when the cold frozen wall almost freezes Emma to death.
According to a post on Hypable, David and Hook go back to the ice wall and David takes the walkie-talkie and talks with Elsa. He explains that although Elsa might survive the wall fortress, Emma might not. Although James is not the fighting type he puts his match up against Anna, who is very determined. Prince Neal feels hungry, giving the newly elected town mayor an idea. The generator lacks the fuel to run. She turns on the fuel after thinking that Mary Margaret would try a hand in testing Prince Neal's magic. And once again, the town is brought back to the present times. Meanwhile, Henry takes on the family motto of never giving up hope and puts it into action. He demands to see his mother when he gets to the doorstep, whether she likes it or not.
One business though, that was not affected by the blackout was the ice cream shop at Storybrooke. Who is behind the magic? Who really did this? Introducing the ice queen.
