'Taken 3' Release Date and Spoilers: 'Taken' Trilogy Ends January 2015

'Taken 3' Release Date and Spoilers: 'Taken' Trilogy Ends January 2015
The trailer for the last film on the Taken trilogy titled "Tak3n" just went online last week and netted a fair amount of reaction from movie buffs and fans alike. "Tak3n" will be showing in theatres on Jan. 9, 2015.
Of course, Liam Neeson comes back to reprise his lead role in the third and last "Taken" movie. Instead of the usual plot that the past two movies revolves around, nobody will be kidnapped or taken from the movie.
Bryan Mills, the lead character role of Liam Neeson, is framed and falsely incriminated in a foul play murder of his wife. Mills is forced to flee and figure out what to do, of course later on he figures out to kill the ones who are responsible.
The film is, again, directed by Olivier Megaton who also directed the preceding Taken 2 movie. The director is also responsible for another action blockbuster film with Jason Statham, Transporter 3 which released back in 2008.
Joining the "Taken 3" cast is Forest Whitaker. Whitaker takes on the role of a law enforcement agent that pursues and tries to capture Bryan Mills, USA Today reported.
There will be no direct physical battle between Bryan Mills and Forest Whitaker's character, however, according to the actor.
Although Whitaker hints that there might be a fight scene between him and Neeson in "Taken 4," Neeson thinks the opposite; Neeson says that the upcoming sequel might be the end for the "Taken" franchise.
Taken starring Liam Neeson also has other action movies in his roster besides the "Taken" franchise. "A Walk Among the Tombstones" was just released, and "Non-Stop," the airplane action thriller, made over $90 million during its opening back in February just this year.
The sequel's script is also written again by Luc Besson and Robert Kamen. Besson also wrote the recent movie "Lucy" starring Scarlett Johanson. Other movies he wrote include "3 Days to Kill" and the first two movies of "Taken." The two writers are also announced to team up and write two additional "Transporter" movies, sequels 5 and 6. They are also responsible for the upcoming "The Transporter Legacy" coming in 2015.
