Caroline Cobb Currently Working on a New Album Based on the Psalms

Acclaimed singer, songwriter Caroline Cobb announces that she is currently working on a yet-to-be-titled album with the songs being based on the Psalms. The new album is being produced by Paul Demer.
Cobb announces, "In the upheaval of 2020, I started slowly working through the Psalms during my time alone with God, and praying them back to Him. Songs started coming, and now I have a small collection ready for the next step."
She continues, "Last Friday, we (mostly) wrapped recording the PSALMS record! Still lots to do before these songs get into your ears, but GOODNESS I'm excited for you to hear them. But first, off to mixing!
Now, I've just gotta think of a name! Everything in this body of work so far has been an alliteration... A Seed, A Sunrise / A Home & A Hunger / A King & His Kindness / the Blood + the Breath..."
Last year, Cobb released her fourth album, A King & His Kindness, distributed exclusively by Integrity Music. The recording zooms in on the heart of Jesus and is rich with biblical imagery, intimate arrangements and poetic lyrics meant to help the Church rehearse and remember God's Story.
In 2011, singer-songwriter Caroline Cobb gave herself a goal to write a song for every book of the Bible in a year. That year of writing set in motion a passion to tell the stories of scripture through music, with imagination, artistry and faithfulness to the text.
Featured by Christianity Today, The Rabbit Room, The Gospel Coalition, Doxology & Theology, Risen Motherhood and more, Cobb has been compared to Rich Mullins, Andrew Peterson, Sandra McCracken and Ellie Holcomb. She and her husband live in Dallas, TX with their three children Ellie, Harrison and Libby.
