Dan Bremnes Adds a Plot Twist to the Story on "The Villain"

Curb Records singer-songwriter Dan Bremnes adds a plot twist to the story on The Villain, arriving Oct. 24, 2025. Fans can pre-add, pre-save or pre-order the second installment of his musical trilogy beginning today (9/12) HERE, as current radio single "Call Your Name" climbs the Christian Airplay charts.
The Villain continues the narrative initially unveiled on The Hero, the first chapter of a larger arc Bremnes is writing. If The Hero showcased an idealized version of ourselves, The Villain exposes our weaknesses. With four additional selections - "Fly Away," "The Other Side of Summer," "Find Yourself" and "Human" - the expanded eight-track collection explores the duality of the human condition through the lens of contemplative pop. The burst of new music sustains the award-winning artist's steady pace of releasing songs that probe his innermost thoughts and reveal his most honest work to date.
Previewing The Villain, Bremnes embarks on a journey of self-discovery on "Find Yourself" - out today, listen HERE. Searching for meaning and a sense of belonging, the singer-songwriter delivers an emotive vocal across an introspective ballad that speaks to the one on the brink of giving up. A reminder that life is worth living and purpose is worth seeking, the choir-assisted original finds a home on his upcoming sequel to The Hero. The Canadian-born troubadour brings "Find Yourself" to life in a brand new music video, also available today - watch HERE.
Fresh off "The Hero Tour," Bremnes is back in the studio for the remainder of the year to put the finishing touches on the third and final volume of his concept series, recording in Sweden, Costa Rica and Nashville. He details more of his journey toward new music HERE.
Stream or purchase "Find Yourself," and pre-add, pre-save or pre-order The Villain HERE. For more information, visit www.danbremnes.com.
